Door to Door Buying of Gold

I was made aware by a resident today (07/02/12) of a male trying to buy gold
door to door in Woolton Hill as follows:
 
Someone had put a leaflet through the door earlier today…probably at about 8.30…

We would strongly recommend that independent advice and valuations are obtained before
selling any such items to these persons.
Trading standards are aware of such callers. Please also be aware of vulnerable neighbours who may be targeted
