East Woodhay Society

Promoting the parish for the benefit of residents

Welcome to our Society

Our Next Event:

Do please come along and make the Barn Dance on Saturday 29th September at Woolton Hill Church Hall a real community event; it’s open to all and great for families and groups of friends.

There is an experienced band and caller to help us through the steps and it is always a good laugh.  It starts at 7:30pm and will end at 10:30pm. Tickets are just £15 for adults and £10 for under 16s and this includes a Ploughman’s supper.

Just send me an email or call on 250898 and I can drop tickets round to you – thanks, Mark Rand

Our Aims:

The East Woodhay Society aims to benefit residents of the whole Parish (i.e. villages and hamlets of Woolton Hill and Broadlayings, Ball Hill, East End, East Woodhay, Gore End, Heath End, Hollington and North End) by: –

  • promoting social activities in order to encourage a community spirit
  • campaigning on issues of local importance, particularly those involving planning and the environment
  • undertaking activities which improve our local environment
  • supporting a charity nominated by the membership.

We are only able to do this with the support of the community and I encourage everyone to become members.  The membership form is below:
